Akshata Rajput, after her SSLC thought of doing something herself to support her father in balancing the financial condition of the family. Mr. Ajith Singh, her father who is a professional photographer, advised Akshata to learn beautician course. Akshatha selected for beautician course and joined Deshpande RUDSETI with zeal. She learnt all beauty care inputs during the training period and evinced enthusiasm to commence a parlour soon after completion of the course at her residence. Her family members have supported her to establish the parlors. With a meager investment of Rs.30,000/- she commenced her business.
She became expert in hair styling, bleaching, facial, mehandi and all other beauty care. Now she gets good orders for wedding functions for bridal make up. Her parlor at Dandeli runs well.
She tells that due to her good service, the customers have themselves advertised about her profession in and around Dandeli. Now she is earning around Rs.3,500/- per month, its not a small sum for her with meager investment. Akshatha expresses her gratitude to Deshpande RUDSETI whole-heartedly, in this regard. |

| Victory For Vitthal |

Vithal Parashuram Dharwadkar, a 28-year-old youth hails from a tiny village B.K.Halli of Haliyal Taluk of Uttara Kannada district. Basically he belongs to Agricultural family. Vitthal was able to study only up to 9th standard, as he was not good in his studies from the beginning. Poor financial condition of his family forced him to work for livelihood. Unfortunately one day he quarreled with his father and was sent out of the house. The unfortunate Vitthal struggled hard to survive. He worked in Haliyal for some days as lorry cleaner for small wages. He felt it was insufficient and started working in a medical shop. Still his livelihood was miserable. He took an auto for hire and worked for minimum commission. |

Meanwhile his father called him back home and got him married. He had to leave the house again due to circumstances. He started to Haliyal, for his livelihood, he decided to open a tea stall and cycle repair shop. He sold the gold ornaments of his wife and started the business. He ran this business for few days and stopped it as he incurred heavy loss. |

Later he thought of buying a passenger Auto by availing loan. He got counseled by one of his friends Mr.Vasant Sorlekar about PMRY scheme. He joined Deshpande RUDSETC to undergo training in Entrepreneurship Development Programme for 10 days. He gained lot of business skills during the programme. After the training he was determined to avail PMRY loan for Auto Rickshaw.
He met Director of Deshpande RUDSETI and got counseled by him about PMRY scheme. With his continuous efforts, persistence he got a green signal from Corporation Bank after 6 months to provide loan under PMRY. He applied to DIG and got selected. He attended the training with zeal at Deshpande RUDSETI. He got motivated by the topics business opportunities, finance management and banking. He got a loan from Corporation Bank of Rs.1,04,400/ and invested Rs.26,000/ as his contribution. He purchased a passenger Auto for Rs. 1,30,000. Now he is running a passenger Auto for school children, farmers and regular passengers from B.K.Halli to Haliyal. Daily he is earning Rs.600/-. Out of which he is spending Rs.200/- for diesel and Rs.200 for bank installment. Thereby he is earning a net profit of Rs.200 every day. Now he owns one small grocery shop which is managed by his wife. He is leading his happy life with a 3-year-old daughter and his wife. Due to his continued efforts and persistence for availing PMRY loan, he succeeded in his venture now. He acknowledged with thanks to D-RUDSETI for timely suggestions and motivation.
