The DIVT undertakes industrial training .The companies select the candidates and the pre - entry training is given in DIVT according to the company syllabus. The companies that conduct campus selection are mainly VOLTAS, TOYOTA, KIRLOSKAR and TMML. Initiatives for short term training programs for skill up-gradation under the sponsorship are also undertaken. The most significant achievement of this year is that 50% of the trainees of DIVT are already well employed.
