Unnati - Job Mela

‘Unnati’- Job Mela is a fair or exposition for employers, recruiters, and Institute to meet with prospective job seekers  and to potential employees. Udyog Mela was held on 18th January 2015 at Vishwanathrao Deshpande Rural Institute of Technology (VDRIT). 41 recruiters were participated and more than 500 job seekers attended the job mela. 77 candidates were shortlisted for jobs. Biggest recruiting agency TeamLease and Bosch and Aeques were the main companies in this mela along with other small scale industries

Support for Culture and Tradition

Trust is regularly organizing ‘Haliyal Habba’ and ‘Kaali Utsav’ in Haliyal and Dandeli to support culture and tradition. Support for culture is an attempt to unite the people and provide a platform to showcase the hidden talent of the local artists. 

There were competitions for all age groups including general public. Rangoli, Cyclothon, Mehandi Application, Kitchen Queen Competition, Drawing & coloring contest, Nursery rhyme recitation & Blood Donation etc were held on the occasion. There was Cattle show/ Dog show and exhibition were being held. Rural Sports were organized for farming community.

Trust takes lead in Swachcha Bharat Andolan

Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Healthy society is made by Healthy people. The habit of cleanliness will make a Healthy Nation. Swachcha Bharat Andolan is a campaign initiated by our Chairman Sri R.V.Deshpande in Haliyal and Joida Taluk.
